Yosihara to J-Village

Avispa's U-18 Youth member Masato Yoshihara was called up for the japanese U-18 trainingscamp for FIFA U-20 World Cup, at J-Village in Fukushima prefecure.
The camp beginns at 24th and will end on 27th february.

The trainingscamp will be held for the players representation and the a possible candidacy for the World Cup in Columbia.

Miyazaki Camp: Avispa - Vortis 2:1

We won our first test match at Miyazaki Camp against Tokushima Vortis with 2:1.
Defender Miyaji and and forward Nagai joined the match.
Miyaji was in the squad in late 2008. He joined the team together with Daiki Niwa who came from Omiya Ardija.

Long break for Kamiyama

Goalie Ryuchi Kamiyama will be out for a long time.
Kamiyama went to Tokyo for the cruciate ligament-operation on his right knee on February 7th.
If everything work well, he maybe leave the hospital on February 27th and start with the rehab.
The doctors said that he will be out for ca. 6 months.

2:1-victory against Tosu

On the 2nd today of the Kitakyushu Mayor Cup, we celebraited a 2:1-victory against Sagan Tosu.Hideya Okamoto bring us the lead in the 35th minute and Kyohei Oyama scored the 2:0 in the 39th. Sagan's Ikeda scored the 2:1 in the 70th minute.
