Toshiya Sueyoshi will play for Avispa Fukuoka in 2010!
Name: Toshiya Sueyoshi Date of birth: 18.11.1987 Height: 174cm Weight: 70kg Position: Midfielder
The 22-year old midfielder and Fukuoka-native won the Kyushu-University Championships with FU and got the chance to win the All Japan University Championships with Fukuoka on january 6th against Meiji University.
Our Defender Toru Miyamoto, who played for Tochigi SC on a loan deal, will join Tochigi by a full transfer now, the club annouced. Toru started his career at Avispa in 2001 and played 177 games and scored 5 goals till this summer, when he moved to Tochigi. In 2009, Toru wasn't in Shinoda's plans for the season and just played 14 games. At Tochigi, he is a starter and get alot of playing time. Thank you Toru for all you've done for Avispa! SUPER Avispa! will follow you at the yellow-shirts!
The club announced today, that foward Teruaki Kurobe, who didn't get a new contract for the next season, will move to Kataller Toyama. Kurobe joined Avispa in 2008, when he signed from J1-side JEF United Chiba. He played 55 games for us, but just scored 4 goals.
After they won the Kyushu-Championships, the boys from Fukuoka University, with Yosuke Miyaji and Kensuke Nagai, made it to the final of the All Japan University Championships! The FU beated Komazawa University with 2:1 and will face Meiji University, which beated Kansai University with 2:0. Minoru Ichikawa in the 10th and Yutaro Takahashi in the 66th minute scored the goals for Fukuoka.
The final will be on january 6th. Also on january 6th, the national team will play against Yemen. Nagai is a member of the squad, so let's see what game will he play. Will he help his team to become the best university-football team in Japan or will he take the chance to make his first game for Japan Daihyo?
We signed talent Hideya Okamoto from Gamba Osaka by a full transfer. This season, Okamoto was just on loan from Gamba Osaka. He played a really well season with 35 games, 5 goals, 1 assist and 1670 minutes of playing time. He really impressed me.
Fukuoka University's big talent and our designate player Kensuke Nagai who is one of the biggest forward-talents in Japan, was called up for the nationalteam-squad for the Yemen-game!!! Nagai is just one out of Okada's very young squad, with players like Tokyo's Gonda and Yonemoto, Nagoya's Kanazaki or Kashima's Osako.
The Asian Cup-quali game will be played on 6th of january. Avispa should sign him before this game, because nobody know how good or bad he will play in this game. If he play good, he will grow the interests of other clubs. So Avispa, please sign him as quick as possible!
Sports newspaper Sports Hochi reported, that the Yokohama F. Marinos wants to sign Hokuto with a loan deal. Hokuto should replace Takanobu Komiyama who is close to sign with 2009 2nd placed and Nabisco Cup-finalist Kawasaki Frontale. It would be a good desicion, because with Yuhei Tokunaga and Naohiro Ishikawa, who are current nationalteam-members, it's very hard to get playing time on his right side. Hokuto would meet some old Kunimi-friends like at FCT. Hokuto played together with Shingo Hyodo and Rookie of the Year and Marinos' goalgetter Kazuma Watanabe at his high school-time in his hometown Nagasaki.
Yoichi Matsumoto, who was one of the coaches from JEF United Chiba's U-18 will join Avispa as the new physical choach. Matsumoto will replace Hideaki Fujino, who left the club.
Midfielder Jun Suzuki will be out for ca. 2 months! Suzuki suffered a metatarsal fatigue fracture in his right foot on saturday at season-final against Yokohama FC. He was subbed out for Shu Abe in the 65th minute, because his foot hurted. On monday, Suzuki went to Fukuoka City Hospital to chek his foot and the doctors diagnosed the bad injury. Jun will go under surgery on friday and will be out for ca. 2 months before he can start with practice again.
It was a so-so-season for our beloved dude in the blue-red jersey of the capital club. Just before the season, Hokuto got injured in a game agaisnt J2-side Consadole Sapporo and was out for a long time. Hokuto made his first game against Yokohama F. Marinos at Nissan Stadium on J1's 12th round. He came on as a substitute for Yohei Kajiyama and just 7 minutes later, he scored his first goal for his new club!
After this great start, everything was looking good and Hokuto came on as a sub again in the next game, but in the Nabisco Cup group stage, he got injured again against Montedio Yamagata. After he got through this injury, he played a game, didn't play, played, didn't play... Hokuto shot another cracker at the Emperor's Cup 3rd round-game against J2-side Thespa Kusatsu with a great freekick.
Just a few days before, Hokuto and F.C. Tokyo celebraited a big 2:0-win against Tokyo bay-rival Kawasaki Frontale in the Nabisco Cup-final at National Stadium Kokuritsu in Tokyo. Hokuto was in the squad, but didn't make it on pitch... It was the first title for Hokuto in his career and the 2nd for F.C. Tokyo, after they win this cup back in 2004 against Urawa Reds.
In the last 3 games, Hokuto started as a starter on Naohiro Ishikawa's season, who played a monster-season. Hokuto didn't looked so bad and scored a really, really nice goal at today's season-final against Albirex Niigata at Niigata "Big Swan" Stadium.
Hokuto'sStats2009 Games: 10 Goals: 2 Minutes on pitch: 380 Nabisco Cup Winner 2009 Emperor's Cup goals: 1
Well, the season is over...and it ended with a little teardrop All started good with a goal from Jumbo in the 19th minute. After a foul on Suzuki, Kudo played a quick freekick, same idea against Kofu, and passed to Jumbo. The Yokohama-defence was not ready for that, like Kofu's, so Jumbo was all alone and scored the 0:1. In the 39th minute, Yokohama's Hayakawa scored the 1:1 after a cornerkick. Nanba took the 2:1-lead for YFC in the 72th, so we had alot of pressure to not lose this final game and the 3-unbeaten games-row. We missed some chances, but in the 87th minute, Yokohama's keeper made a big mistake. It was a goal from the ones, who will leave the team. Daisuke Nakaharai played a cross into the box. The keeper dropped the ball with his hands just in front of Kurobe, who just turned arround and scored the 2:2-end result.
The teardrop of this game is, that we didn't take the chance to make it to the TOP10. Our contender, Thespa Kusatsu won at the same time at home against Tochigi SC with 3:2, so both team got the same number of points with 65, but Thespa got the better goal-difference with -12 to -19 on our side, so we ended this season on 11th place.
Kosuke Nakamachi will play for Avispa Fukuoka in 2010!
Name: Kosuke Nakamachi Date of birth: 01.09.1985 Height: 174cm Weight: 69kg Postion: Midfielder
Nakamachi, who play in the midfield, come from Keio University Soccer Club, Tokyo, where he played in the last two years. Nakamachi already got J2-experience. He played for Shonan Bellmare from 2004 to 2007 and played 66 games and scored two goals in this time. In his youth, the Saitama-born played for an secondary school in Takasaki, Gunma prefecture.
Here is a bit older news from mid-november... Our current assistant coach Hitoshi Morishita will give us his job and will work for Avispa's board in 2010. Before Morishita came to Fukuoka in 2009, he worked in the youth sections of Consadole Sapporo and Jubilo Iwata.
The club announced today, that our two brazilians Wellington and Alex will leave Japan on december 11th and fly back to Brazil. They will practice with the team for the last time on december 4th, one day before seasons-final match against Yokohama FC at Nissan Stadium in Yokohama.
Dudes, you are always find a way to fascinate us! We won our last home-game 2009 against the dragons from Mito HollyHock with an impressive 3:1! The Team showed the 11,286 fans in the stadium a really great performance! One of the best this season! 15 to 8 shots! There was no fire from the dragons... The best of the game and the main reason to winning this game was the awsome pass-playing we showed today's afternoon! The first firecracker of the show exploded 46 seconds after the first whistle. After the first good pass-playing, Kudo to Okamoto, who tipped the ball to Takahashi. Takahashi turned arround and shot with a good eye. There was no chance for Mito's keeper to reach the ball, so he stood there like a tree. The second firecracker after just half a hour was a bigger "BOOM!" than the first one. The Team showed a awsome pass-playing. At the end of this awsome play, Kudo crossed the ball into the box, where the Mito-defence left Jumbo Okubo all alone, so he just had to bombed the ball into the net! His 15th goal of the season! Mito scored the 2:1 in the the 50th minute, but we had another firecracker to blow up! In the 75th minute, Okamoto played a long ball to Takahashi, who was not attacked by the Mito-defender, because he was far, far away from Yutaka. Takahashi played a good pass to the also left-alone Yusuke, who put the ball on his stronger right foot and bend it into the goal!
After the 2:1 against Kofu and the 1:2 against Thespa, it was the 3 win in a row and another great, great show for the fans in the LEVEL5 Stadium! But the most impressive thing is, how the team pull themself up. In many games, they lost their heads after the other team scored the first goal or just scoring a goal. In the last games, the team really showed how they learned about that situation in the last games. Kofu scored the first, we came back. Thespa scored the first, we came back. Mito scored the 2:1, we scored another one. Respect dudes, you really did your homework!
Now, we just need the three points in Yokohama to reach the TOP 10!
9 players will not get a new contract for next season, so they have to leave the club. Satoshi Nagano, Wellington, Teruaki Kurobe, Daisuke Nakaharai, Alex, Tatsunori Hisanaga, Yuji Miyahara, Motohiro Yoshida and Yasuomi Kugisaki...
It's really sad that captain Tatsunori Hisanaga have to leave. He started his career at Avispa in 1996 and was always a member of the club. He just played for other teams on loan. 2002, he played for the Yokohama F. Marinos and from 2004-2006 for Omiya Ardija. Espacially at Omiya, Hisanaga was a important player and played 101 games in three years for the mighty squirrels.
We will miss you dude, there will always be a place for you at Avispa!
Thanks to all other players who leave... Thanks Satoshi for defending, Thanks Wellington to be good...in the first games... Thanks Teruaki for always trying to find the net... Thanks Daisuke for being really patient Thanks Alex for give Fukuoka a brazilian baby Thanks Yuji for....just thanks Thanks Motohiro for good saves Thanks Yasuomi for being really, really, really patient
JFL-side New Wave Kitakyushu made the promotion to the J2 today! The other football-team from Fukuoka prefecture won at Arte Takasaki with 1:2 and will end the season under the first four places, which is one of the criteria of the J.League to become a member. Kitakyushu is now on 3rd place with 57 points. Gainare Tottori, who also got the chance to promote is now on 5th place with 53 points, so they can't be past.
The promotion of New Wave means that there will be a Fukuoka-Derby for the first time in japanese professional soccer. New Wave will get a new name for the new season. In 2010, the team will play as Giravanz Kitakyushu.
Big congrats and alot of respect from our side to our friends from the neighbourhood! We are looking forward for the Fukuoka-Derbys in 2010!
A really, really important win for our mission TOP 10! We looked better than the most of our away-shows this season. It was another good, display, that Takahashi and Okubo work much better than Kurobe-Okubo. Thespa went for lead in the 2nd minute, when their topscorer Ken Tokura shot the ball in our net, but they play really hard in damped theirself, when Shingo Kumabayashi was sent of with a yellow/red after 31 minutes. But before they troubled theirself, captain Daiki Niwa scored his first goal of the season and the 2nd in his Avispa-career in the 17th minute after a corner Kiyo Kudo. In the second half, Thespa played really defensive and we scored the lead-goal after 66. minutes. After some pass-playing, we found the hole in the defensive. Takahashi took the ball and passed it back to Jumbo, who dropped it into the goal.
Now we have a really good chance to make in to the TOP 10, even when Thespa is still on the 10th, because of the better goal difference. Gifu, who is another contender about the 10th place, lost at home against Consadole Sapporo 2:4 and, but still got the chance with 59 points. Also Toyama got still the chance with 58 points, but the chance is very low.
www.nishinippon.co.jp reported today, that ex-U-20-, U-23-national- and Jubilo Iwata-coach Masakuni Yamamoto may will get a job at adviser for Avispa in season 2010. The site wrote, that Yamamoto will meet the club-front 2-3 times in a month and talk with the club-front. Yamamoto coached the U-20 national team at the U-20 world cup 1997 in Malaysia, the U-23 at the olympic games 2004 in Greece and Jubilo Iwata from 2004-2006.
Avispa renewed the contract of coach Yoshiyuki Shinoda today. It was suprising, because there was big rumours in early october, which said that Shinoda will replaced by JFA technical comitee chairman Takeshi Ono. The club trust in Shinoda, even this season was a big dissapointment for Avispa. The first half of the season was pretty bad and just sad. The second half looks better and the team got the chance to reach the TOP 10. That's maybe one of the main reason. If we wouldn't have the chance to reach the first ten now, Shinoda will be fired after this seaon... Shinoda has to prove in the next season, that the club was right in renewing his contract...If not, he's out!
Avispa drove to Honjo Stadium, Kitakyushu, to play another training match against JFL-side New Wave Kitakyushu. Yesterday, they turned the match in the last second against Oita Trinita, but today, they gave away a 0:2-lead and ended up with a 2:2 draw. It wasn't our best possible team like yesterday, today there was another chance for the reserve players. Man of the match on Avispa-side was Teruaki Kurobe, who scored both goals for us, but one man stole him the show... Our number 1, Ryuichi Kamiyama, celebraited his comeback after a long-time injury and played 61 minutes before the subbed out for Eita Kasagawa!
Today, Avispa and (still) J1-side Oita Trinita met halfway in the Onsen-city of Beppu for a training match. Avispa, who came to the pitch with the best possible team and didn't use reserves players like Wellington or Oyama, won the game 2:1. Oita took the lead in 51st minute but Avispa turned the match in the last second and drove home to Fukuoka with a victory.
The Fukuoka University, with our designated players Yosuke Miyaji and Kensuke Nagai, won the Kyushu Universities League-title. Fukuoka University won it last sunday when they played 1:1 against the Miyazaki Sangyo-keiei University. There is still one round to play, but FU got a 4 point-lead, so no team can pass them. The last game for the Daigaku-guys will be tomorrow against Kyushu Sangyo University. Congrats Boys!
Germany and the whole football-world grieves about a great goalkeeper and a man with a big heart.
Germany's nationalteam goalkeeper Robert Enke (32) died yesterday evening after he got caught by a train. It was suicide... Enke, who played for Bundesliga-side Hannover 96, where he was the captain of the team. He was mentally unstable since years and suffer depression and fear of failure. In 2006, his daugther died at the age of two, because of an inborn heart failure. Enke left his wife and a 8 months old adopted daugther.
SUPER Avispa! sorrow about one of the best goalkeepers, but a bigger big-hearted man...
Hokuto scored a beatiful freekick at Tokyo's 3:2-win against J2-side Thespa Kusatsu in the 3rd round of the 89th Emperor's Cup. The game was held in Nagasaki, where Hokuto was born and grew up. He also played in Nagasaki for the nationwide popular Kunimi High School. The other goals were scored by Hideki Sahara and Hokuto's best buddy Sota Hirayama.
Today, we traveled to Hiroshima to play a training match against J1-side Sanfrecce Hiroshima at Big Arch Stadium (14:00). We won 1:3. Last month, we lost 1:2 and in june, we lost 0:4 to the big ones from the east.
And we made it again, a win against a big horse of the league! We had to take revange for the two big losses in the 2 games before, 2:4 and 6:0... Not many shots on both sides but we managed to get 3 points in a nice way of scoring goals. But at first, it looked like Kofu would win the game after scoring the 0:1 in the 17th minute by Junior Maranão. In the 30th minute, Jun Suzuki played a beautiful pass to Jumbo Okubo on the left side. Okubo played a cross into the box where Takahashi were left all alone by the Kofu-denfenders. Takahashi scored the goal with a powerfull header!Kofu was the better team in the second half, but a good idea from Kiyo Kudo gave us the lead! It looked like Kiyo gave him self some time to kick it, but he play it fast and Kofu's defence were not ready for that. Jumbo ran threw the defence and socred a beatiful goal with a spinning header! It was a pretty hard game with 30 freekicks on our and 23 on Kofu's side, but just one yellow card for both.
Defender Kazuki Yamaguchi, who came from Fukuoka University this year, made his pro-debut after he was subbed in for Nakajima in the 77th minute.
Thespa lost 5:0 to Cerezo Osaka, so we still got the chance to reach the Top 10. We are just 3 points behind them.
With our victory against Kofu, we helped Cerezo Osaka to get promoted to the J1! Good look from our side to Cerezo! Well done guys!
The homepage of Sponichi Annex reported today, that F.C. Tokyo got interests and want to sign Kensuke Nagai, who should play for us in 2010. After Hokuto 2008, it would be the second big talent, who's going to the capital city of Japan.
In all kindness to F.C.T. from our side, but Hokuto is enough so please get your handes out of him!
A special version of Capital Adventure! F.C. Tokyo and Hokuto won the Yamazaki Nabisco Cup-Final against Kawasaki Frontale 2:0! It's the second big title after they winning the tournament back in 2004 against Urawa Reds, but it's the first title for Hokuto Nakamura!!! It was a suprising, but also a deserved win for the Blue-Red guys. They had to play the game without their superstar Naohiro Ishikawa, who is out for a few weeks with a knee-injury and a 100%-fit Yuto Nagatomo, who's still suffer a shoulder-injury, but they managed to make their dream come true. Talent Takuji Yonemoto, who was awarded with the New Hero Award, scored the opener in the 22nd minute. Hokuto's big buddy Sota Hirayama scored the final 2:0 in the 59th minute. The only not so happy-thing is, that Hokuto didn't get the chance to play in the final, so he had to watch the full 90 minutes from the bench. Anyway, F.C.Tokyo won the game and Hokuto his first title and that's the greatest news of the day!!!
Big, big congrats to F.C. Tokyo from SUPER Avispa! Blog
Hokuto played in J.League's Satellite League on wednesday to get some more playing time. He scored at Tokyo's 3:1-victory against Shonan Bellmare. Let's hope Hokuto will be in the squad for the Nabisco Cup-Final against Kawasaki Frontale on tuesday at Kokuritsu.
We lost to J.League champion Kashima Antlers in the 3rd round of the 89th Emperor's Cup with 3:0. We lost the game in the first half, when Kashima scored all their goals in the first 45 minutes. The hurdle was a bit to high for us, so we won't have the chance to take revange to Vissel Kobe for the lose in the playoffs back in season 2006. We lost against the current and maybe the new champion, so the team shouldn't be to dissapointed. Kurobe and Suzuki said after the game that it wasn't easy to play the second half with a 0:3-behind, so they can't play their game they wanted to play. Now they want to concentrate on the last 4 games in the J2 and want to reach the last goal this season: to finish on 10th place.
The Fukuoka University wasn't luckier than the big guys from the city. The Daigaku-guys lost to Gamba Osaka at Banpaku with 6:1. The good news is, that Kensuke Nagai scored the only goal for his team and showed his skills against a much bigger team again.
