Shinoda preparing Nagai for 2010

Fukuoka University's and Avispa's designated supertalent Kensuke Nagai is on his way to get a real part of the team. Coach Shinoda gave the Kitakyushu-born alot of playing time for a designated player in the last two games against Tokushima Vortis and Ehime FC. Nagai played 80 minutes in the games (35 at home, 45 at Ehime). He didn't score a goal, but nobody expect it at the moment. We are all just happy to see him on the pitch.
Shinoda is preparing the 20-year old slowly for the upcoming season, when Nagai will sign a contract at Avispa.
It's a good idea from Shinoda to give him this playing time and the whole Avispa-fanbase hope, that he always will be at the squad for the last games.
We have nothing to lose this season anyway, so give him the minutes he and we fans are waiting for!

A good performance at home again! ... and we beated the league-leader ...again!!!
Vegalta played also pretty good, so it was a tight game, but in the end we won the game.
The really curios thing...Kurobe scored a goal!!! But Kurobe wasn't the best on this sunny sunday afternoon. "Grandpa" Kiyo Kudo assisted both goals and played more than a great game.
Yusuke Tanaka scored the 2:0 and his 8th goal of the season.
Vegalta really pushed in the second half to score a goal, but we managed to come out clean.
Two mistakes in the defence gave us the win and important three points.
Long time-injured Takanori Nakajima celebrated his comeback in this game!

Oyama is out for 3 weeks

Avispa's youth-international Kyohei Oyama is out for 3 weeks with a joint-injury in his right foot.
Oyama suffered the inury in yesterdays trainings match against V-Varen Nagasaki (2:1, post below)

Another lose to Sagan Tosu this season with the same result...
Everything was fine after Okubo scored the opening goal in the 8th minute, but Sagan played a real powerplay over the 90 minutes, so they score 3 goals in the 2nd half.
Ex-Fukuokan Mike Havenaar scored the final 1:3 like on 4th july at the same stadium.
Nagira was send off in the 82 minute, but he would miss the next game anyway, because he earned his 4th yellow in the 19th minute.

Hokuto and FC Tokyo are in the Nabisco Cup 2009 final!
FC Tokyo beat Shimizu at home with 1:0 from a header from Hokuto's buddy Sota Hirayama.
Tokyo has to play against Kawasaki Frontale, which played 1:1 at Nissan Stadium against Yokohama.

The final will be played on November 3rd at National Stadium in Tokyo

Hokuto played 24 minutes at Tokyo's 2:1-lose yesterday in Kyoto against Sanga.
He was subbed in for captain Naotake Hanyu

Teamspirit

Avispa show teamspirit with the shirts of the injured captain Tatsunori Hisanaga and Makoto Tanaka.
Last game at the Kyushu Derby against Sagan Tosu at Tosu Stadium last sunday (3:1), Avispa had the two shirts of their injured player with them on the bench (l.)

Today, at the 2:0-homevictory against J2-leader Vegalta Sendai, Teruaki Kurobe and Kiyo Kudo weared the shirts of Hisa and Makoto at the Hero-Interview after the game.
Kurobe weared Hisanaga's 16 and Kudo weared Makoto's number 4.

That's real teamspirit!

[J2-R37] Okayama 2-2 Avispa

A good comeback in a lousy game from us.
The biggest suprise was not that Teruaki Kurobe asissted both goals...but still no goals since the 2nd day by himself, but goalkeeper Yuji Rokutan, who was always our 3rd keeper behind Mizutani, Yoshida and Kamiyama made his first game for Avispa in 4 years.
Jogo made his fifth goal of the season and Yusuke made his 7th and his 4th in 5 games.

Tanaka's operation went well

The club announced today, that the operation of Makoto Tanaka's face injuries yesterday at the Fukuoka City Hospital went out well.

The ex-international and Jubilo-legend has to stay in hospital for 3 more weeks and can start with the rehabilitation then to may went for a comeback in middle or late october.

The club announced today, that Makoto Tanaka will have a operation on friday, because of his heavy facical injuries.
The operation will be held at the Fukuoka City Hospital.

[J2-R36] Avispa 0-1 Shonan

What a game, gentlemens and what a lucky win for Shonan!
That was an awsome game from both teams and no one deserved to win this fight!
We played great and bravely against one of the the top-teams.
Not only today, but we really show really nice football in the last games. This lose was only a little mistake today and just big luck for Shonan.
When we can hold this level we play at the moment, maybe we can finish in Top 10.
I'm pretty optimistic, because that was a big, big show today!
