Dudes, you are always find a way to fascinate us!
We won our last home-game 2009 against the dragons from Mito HollyHock with an impressive 3:1! The Team showed the 11,286 fans in the stadium a really great performance! One of the best this season! 15 to 8 shots! There was no fire from the dragons...
The best of the game and the main reason to winning this game was the awsome pass-playing we showed today's afternoon!
The first firecracker of the show exploded 46 seconds after the first whistle.
After the first good pass-playing, Kudo to Okamoto, who tipped the ball to Takahashi. Takahashi turned arround and shot with a good eye. There was no chance for Mito's keeper to reach the ball, so he stood there like a tree. The second firecracker after just half a hour was a bigger "BOOM!" than the first one.
The Team showed a awsome pass-playing. At the end of this awsome play, Kudo crossed the ball into the box, where the Mito-defence left Jumbo Okubo all alone, so he just had to bombed the ball into the net! His 15th goal of the season!
Mito scored the 2:1 in the the 50th minute, but we had another firecracker to blow up!
In the 75th minute, Okamoto played a long ball to Takahashi, who was not attacked by the Mito-defender, because he was far, far away from Yutaka. Takahashi played a good pass to the also left-alone Yusuke, who put the ball on his stronger right foot and bend it into the goal!
After the 2:1 against Kofu and the 1:2 against Thespa, it was the 3 win in a row and another great, great show for the fans in the LEVEL5 Stadium! But the most impressive thing is, how the team pull themself up. In many games, they lost their heads after the other team scored the first goal or just scoring a goal. In the last games, the team really showed how they learned about that situation in the last games. Kofu scored the first, we came back. Thespa scored the first, we came back. Mito scored the 2:1, we scored another one.
Respect dudes, you really did your homework!
Now, we just need the three points in Yokohama to reach the TOP 10!

9 players have to leave
9 players will not get a new contract for next season, so they have to leave the club.
Satoshi Nagano, Wellington, Teruaki Kurobe, Daisuke Nakaharai, Alex, Tatsunori Hisanaga, Yuji Miyahara, Motohiro Yoshida and Yasuomi Kugisaki...
It's really sad that captain Tatsunori Hisanaga have to leave. He started his career at Avispa in 1996 and was always a member of the club. He just played for other teams on loan. 2002, he played for the Yokohama F. Marinos and from 2004-2006 for Omiya Ardija. Espacially at Omiya, Hisanaga was a important player and played 101 games in three years for the mighty squirrels.
We will miss you dude, there will always be a place for you at Avispa!
Thanks to all other players who leave...
Thanks Satoshi for defending,
Thanks Wellington to be good...in the first games...

Thanks Alex for give Fukuoka a brazilian baby

[J2-R49] Kusatsu 1-2 Avispa
A really, really important win for our mission TOP 10!
We looked better than the most of our away-shows this season. It was another good, display, that Takahashi and Okubo work much better than Kurobe-Okubo. Thespa went for lead in the 2nd minute, when their topscorer Ken Tokura shot the ball in our net, but they play really hard in damped theirself, when Shingo Kumabayashi was sent of with a yellow/red after 31 minutes.
But before they troubled theirself, captain Daiki Niwa scored his first goal of the season and the 2nd in his Avispa-career in the 17th minute after a corner Kiyo Kudo.
In the second half, Thespa played really defensive and we scored the lead-goal after 66. minutes.
After some pass-playing, we found the hole in the defensive. Takahashi took the ball and passed it back to Jumbo, who dropped it into the goal.
Now we have a really good chance to make in to the TOP 10, even when Thespa is still on the 10th, because of the better goal difference. Gifu, who is another contender about the 10th place, lost at home against Consadole Sapporo 2:4 and, but still got the chance with 59 points. Also Toyama got still the chance with 58 points, but the chance is very low.

Avispa move on with Shinoda
Avispa renewed the contract of coach Yoshiyuki Shinoda today. It was suprising, because there was big rumours in early october, which said that Shinoda will replaced by JFA technical comitee chairman Takeshi Ono.
The club trust in Shinoda, even this season was a big dissapointment for Avispa.
The first half of the season was pretty bad and just sad. The second half looks better and the team got the chance to reach the TOP 10. That's maybe one of the main reason. If we wouldn't have the chance to reach the first ten now, Shinoda will be fired after this seaon...
Shinoda has to prove in the next season, that the club was right in renewing his contract...If not, he's out!

[Training Match] Kitakyushu 2-2 Avispa
Avispa drove to Honjo Stadium, Kitakyushu, to play another training match against JFL-side New Wave Kitakyushu. Yesterday, they turned the match in the last second against Oita Trinita, but today, they gave away a 0:2-lead and ended up with a 2:2 draw.
It wasn't our best possible team like yesterday, today there was another chance for the reserve players.
Man of the match on Avispa-side was Teruaki Kurobe, who scored both goals for us, but one man stole him the show...
Our number 1, Ryuichi Kamiyama, celebraited his comeback after a long-time injury and played 61 minutes before the subbed out for Eita Kasagawa!

Fukuoka University won it last sunday when they played 1:1 against the Miyazaki Sangyo-keiei University. There is still one round to play, but FU got a 4 point-lead, so no team can pass them.

[J2-R48] Avispa 2-1 Kofu
And we made it again, a win against a big horse of the league!
We had to take revange for the two big losses in the 2 games before, 2:4 and 6:0...
Not many shots on both sides but we managed to get 3 points in a nice way of scoring goals.
But at first, it looked like Kofu would win the game after scoring the 0:1 in the 17th minute by Junior Maranão.
In the 30th minute, Jun Suzuki played a beautiful pass to Jumbo Okubo on the left side. Okubo played a cross into the box where Takahashi were left all alone by the Kofu-denfenders. Takahashi scored the goal with a powerfull header!Kofu was the better team in the second half, but a good idea from Kiyo Kudo gave us the lead!
It looked like Kiyo gave him self some time to kick it, but he play it fast and Kofu's defence were not ready for that. Jumbo ran threw the defence and socred a beatiful goal with a spinning header! It was a pretty hard game with 30 freekicks on our and 23 on Kofu's side, but just one yellow card for both.
Defender Kazuki Yamaguchi, who came from Fukuoka University this year, made his pro-debut after he was subbed in for Nakajima in the 77th minute.
Thespa lost 5:0 to Cerezo Osaka, so we still got the chance to reach the Top 10. We are just 3 points behind them.

The homepage of Sponichi Annex reported today, that F.C. Tokyo got interests and want to sign Kensuke Nagai, who should play for us in 2010. After Hokuto 2008, it would be the second big talent, who's going to the capital city of Japan.
In all kindness to F.C.T. from our side, but Hokuto is enough so please get your handes out of him!

Tokyo is a big blue & red-Party!
A special version of Capital Adventure!
F.C. Tokyo and Hokuto won the Yamazaki Nabisco Cup-Final against Kawasaki Frontale 2:0! It's the second big title after they winning the tournament back in 2004 against Urawa Reds, but it's the first title for Hokuto Nakamura!!!
It was a suprising, but also a deserved win for the Blue-Red guys. They had to play the game without their superstar Naohiro Ishikawa, who is out for a few weeks with a knee-injury and a 100%-fit Yuto Nagatomo, who's still suffer a shoulder-injury, but they managed to make their dream come true. Talent Takuji Yonemoto, who was awarded with the New Hero Award, scored the opener in the 22nd minute. Hokuto's big buddy Sota Hirayama scored the final 2:0 in the 59th minute. The only not so happy-thing is, that Hokuto didn't get the chance to play in the final, so he had to watch the full 90 minutes from the bench.
Anyway, F.C.Tokyo won the game and Hokuto his first title and that's the greatest news of the day!!!
Big, big congrats to F.C. Tokyo from SUPER Avispa! Blog
